KINZE®
1/16 "Big Blue" 4-wheel drive tractor
Features and information:
Working in conjunction with DMI of Goodfield,Illinois, development began in 1972 on a 13 -bottom plow that would flex in the middle. To demonstrate this new design,KINZE custom built a 4 - wheel drive tractor that was powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines that produced 600 H.P.. The tractor and plow were completed just in time to be demonstrated at the Farm Progress Show in the fall of 1974. This specialty built tractor, weighing over 20 tons, became known as "Big Blue" and continued to draw large crowds at various farm shows and field demonstrations through 1976.
Today, nearly 33 years since the introduction of this massive tractor, a piece of history can be purchased in this 1/16 all die cast replica of "Big Blue". Exceptional attention to detail pertaining to the manufacturing of this Quality replica will definitely be a must have for all KINZE and 4-wheel drive collectors.
